4 in 1: Kasan, pressure cooker, kettle and pot.The Afghan kazan is a modern aluminum pressure cooker with a sealed lid, which is suitable for cooking, roasting, stewing or baking all kinds of dishes: meat, poultry, plov, soups, porridges and even some desserts!
Thanks to the increased pressure, food is cooked much faster (according to the pressure cooker principle) while retaining natural flavors and aromas.
Please make sure that the usable volume of the kettle is 65-80% and if more than this standard is filled, there is a possibility of valve blockage.

- wash with a soft cloth or sponge and standard dishwashing detergent
- fill the kazan 1/3 full with water, bring to the boil and leave to soak for about 10 minutes
- Drain the water, rinse everything well again, remove any industrial grease and dust residues and dry well
- pour 100 ml of vegetable oil into the kazan and fry a chopped onion with the lid closed, shaking the pan regularly to distribute the oil evenly over the sides
- Finally, pour off the oil and remove and discard the onion residue
- Finally, wipe the empty kazan with a soft cloth, remembering to rinse the valves well.
Important note:
Please do not openlid of the kasannot immediately after the end of the cooking process. Wait until no more steam escapes through the valve, only then loosen the screw and the lid will lift easily by itself. Opening the kasan without releasing the pressure and steam can lead to injuries!
