Preparation instructions:

Place a bag of buckwheat in plenty of salted, boiling water.
Cook over a medium heat for 20-25 minutes.
Remove the bag from the pan with a fork and drain well.
Open the bag, serve the contents on a plate and refine with butter, herbs or other ingredients as desired.
