Destan Kashkaval made from sheep's milk is a typical semi-hard, yellow cheese from traditional Balkan cuisine. Made from pasteurized sheep's milk and matured patiently for approx. 6 months, it develops a mild, spicy aroma that delights cheese lovers.
Its smooth, closed surface without holes and its firm consistency make it versatile - whether for pizza, khachapuri, casseroles or creamy sauces. Thanks to its high fat content of 45% in dry matter and natural melting properties, it is perfect for hot dishes.
